Suchada Sukrong, Ph.D.
Co-founder
Prof. Suchada Sukrong, Ph.D. is currently working at the Department of Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutical Botany, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. She completed her Ph.D. in Plant Molecular Biology at the University of Kentucky, USA. Her interests are focused on herbs, phytochemistry/ bioactivities of natural compounds, and authentication of medicinal plants by DNA technology. In recent years, she has focused on the application of standardized herbal extracts with integrative technologies to combat atmospheric particulate matter (PM), both PM2.5 and PM10. She and her students are forming a start-up business company related to anti-pollution.
Pasarapa Towiwat, Ph.D.
CFO & Co-founder
Assoc. Prof. Pasarapa Towiwat, Ph.D. earned her master’s and Ph.D. degrees from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Massachusetts, USA. She is currently working at the Department of Pharmacology and Physiology, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. Her main research interests are neuropharmacology, pain, and inflammation. For more than 20 years, she has been focused on testing in vivo bioactivities, including antinociceptive, anti-neuropathic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic activities of standardized herbal extracts, natural compounds, and prodrugs for both prevention and treatment of pain and inflammation-related diseases.
Chayapol Tungphatthong, Pharm.D.
Researcher
Chayapol Tungphatthong earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the Department of Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutical Botany, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chulalongkorn University. His thesis concentrated on real-time PCR for the identification of medicinal plants via melting curve analysis for quality control in herbal industrials.
Recently, he focused on the innovation of anti-pollution technologies and rapid lateral flow biosensors for plant authentication.
Yodsagon Samun, B.Sc.
Researcher
Yodsagon Samun completed a bachelor’s degree from the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University. During his bachelor’s degree, he was mainly interested in molecular biology and biotechnology. For his senior project, he focused on molecular cloning enzymes encoding genes from halophilic cyanobacteria.
Currently, he is working on standardizing medicinal plant extracts and the isolation of natural compounds for various applications.
